Local maker, artist (and part time Lowie girl, Emma of By These Fair Hands joins us for another earring making masterclass. Emma runs her own brand 'By These Fair Hands' from her dining room with her dog Norris not far away. She creates statement jewellery inspired by precious stones, natural forms and the 80's.
At the workshop you will learn to make your own earrings from polymer clay. Emma will teach you how to achieve all the different effects she uses in her work and will help you to produce the design you have in mind.
First of all you will choose your colours and put together some colour palettes, these are then cleverly mixed together to give you the design you will be using to create your earrings. You will then cut your shapes, bake them in the oven then sand them down, and varnish.
You will take home 2 pairs of your own designed and created earrings to enjoy yourself or to share with a friend!
Do I need to bring anything?
All materials are included in the cost of the workshop so you don't have to bring a thing! You may want to have a think about your design before you come or just get inspired when you get here!
To get creative juices flowing we will provide a glass of bubbly!
